STIBC will like to join other translation and interpreting organizations around the world in expressing our sympathy and support for Ukrainian and Russian language professionals who find themselves in incredibly challenging circumstances due to current crisis in Ukraine.
We would like to echo the message circulated by the American Translators Association and take this opportunity to reaffirm that translators and interpreters are bridge-builders between cultures, and that their language of choice is and will continue to be peaceful communication.
We hope for a speedy resolution to the military conflict and that all language professionals, as well as everyone else involved, stays safe in these very difficult times.
